FAQ's

-Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

I provide personalized service that is realistic for your own lifestyle and preferences. This is all about you!  I have over 20 years of clinical experience helping clients achieve their health and nutrition goals.

-Do I have to stop eating my favorite foods?

No!  I help you learn how to include your favorite foods.  We will discuss the health benefits and risks of foods so that you will know what your best choices are and how much or how often you can eat them in order to meet your goals.

-Do I have to exercise?

Increased activity is beneficial for our health but this does not mean that you have to be involved in a high energy, super sweaty exercise routine.  We can discuss some great ways to be less sedentary within your daily routine and that is the best place to start.

-Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on current nutrition developments?

My state license and national status as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist require that I have yearly continuing education in my field.  This is a great way for me to stay on the cutting edge of current research in nutrition and health. I believe it is important to know if new nutrition trends are based on scientific research or simply the opinion of one or two people.

-Do you take insurance?

I currently do not participate with or bill any insurance.  I accept payment in the form of cash, checks and credit cards.
