Rarely do I meet with a person about weight loss who hasn’t already tried multiple diets or weight loss programs. In fact, most people who are overweight are actually experts at losing weight.

I will help you identify and overcome barriers to successful eating and weight maintenance. The emphasis is on you, rather than food. Your activity level, your emotional health, and your nutrition knowledge are all important.

Some people prefer a very structured meal plan, others are ready for flexibility. Some people like to include meal replacement drinks or bars, but others do not. Some people prefer a low carbohydrate approach, others want low fat.  Some people like to exercise at the gym, others like to use a pedometer for ongoing monitoring.

We will determine what works best for you and build on that. Weight loss should be long lasting, follow principles of good nutrition and built on foods and behaviors that are sustainable for a lifetime. It requires a commitment that may take considerable time and effort. Let’s get started!
